I wouldn't recommend this doctor personally. I believe he lacks good bedside manner and is very rude. I had trouble with my milk supply due to health issues, and he made me feel awful for using a combination of breast milk and formula, as advised by a lactation nurse to ensure my baby was getting enough food. My son had trouble gaining weight while under his care because the doctor was fixated on only breastfeeding despite me telling him I was not producing enough for my baby. Dr. Tamamoto is one of the worst doctors I've ever dealt with. My two sons were under his care for about three years and looking back I can't believe some of the shocking things he would do and say. One of them is telling me that my son (who was found positive for rhino) can go back to school (while still very sick and contagious) his reason "well someone gave it to him" seriously? Don't bother if you want to have different options then the current vaccination schedule. Took my child years ago; was spoken down too, treated like an idiot, and generally treated awfully by the doctor and front office. I was working with vaccination physician specialists in Europe, and following a selective and alternate vaccination schedule physicians in Europe agreed the alternative schedule was safer and was working with me.
