Dr Shanti seems quite knowledgeable, but I waited 3 months for an appointment only to be told I needed $13,000 dollars worth of testing to get any sort of treatment plan. I’m not looking to complete IVF so this is a steep investment for someone just looking for pharmaceutical options, that they did not sound open to in my initial consult.
She is atop notch infertility doctor.
I am forever grateful for Dr Shanti and her team! She is doesn't sugar coat things but if you want someone to get the job done she is the Doctor you need. I had a friend help me find Dr Shanti because of her success rate. Her team was all compassion and there to hold my hand through every step. I was pregnant 49 and have a beautiful baby.
I am pregnant with my 3rd baby thank you to Dr. Shanti and team. I am so grateful because I have no fallopian tubes and had sever endometriosis. She is amazing, trust her process and do it her way. I didn’t have any unsuccessful transfers and I like her conservative approach.
You have to make your own thoughts of your own experience with Dr. Shanti. If you feel like she is not a right Doctor for you, go find someone else regardless of the distance. I went to see her as my fertility Doctor, (she's the closest in-network with my insurance, the rest are hours away). The first day of our appointment, I had a feeling this is seems not right, I still keep going to see her for the appointments.
