Dr.Gluhanick and his staff at West Penn Medical Associates are everything I want in healthcare. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They listen and do whatever is needed to resolve the issue. I have been a patient in the practice for over 25 years. I would never go anywhere else!
The office staff is a mess. I've been a patient for about a year. In that time, I have had multiple episodes with the office staff for scheduling issues, billing issues and lack of communication. Their professionalism does not exist! I arrived for an 8am appointment at 8:14 (there was a car accident on my way). I attempted to call but you can't get a direct line to the office to let them know I was going to be late. I left a voicemail. Scheduling is terrible. They don't have any openings for MONTHS, & after you wait 2 or 3 months for an appointment, they call 2 days beforehand to reschedule.... And of course, their next opening is months away. Again. They also aren't open nights or weekends, so when exactly do they expect people to go to the doctor? I guess they just want you to burn a vacation day (if you're fortunate enough to even get those) just for something as basic as a physical. And then, once you've already scheduled the vacation day...
