In March 2026, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 prostate cancer with a high Gleason score. I was fortunate enough to have a great team of doctors including a great Urologist, great Oncologist and an awesome Radiologist! (I refer to them as the A team). I am being treated with hormone therapy, radiology and will have HDR prostate brachytherapy therapy after the completion of my radiation treatments. In July 2021, Dr. Spencer Kozinn, my Urolgist/Surgeon took out my prostate. Very bad Gleason score biopsy, but no sign of spread. I could have waited, but for me I knew my mind would do a number on me - did I/did I not have the C. For me, I just wanted to deal with it as soon as possible. Post surgery biopsy score also bad, but no signs of spread. Dr. Kozinn said all good for now, but with bad Gleason score, he felt there’d be a 50% chance to need more treatment. I am thankful for having a great Dr like Dr.Ahmed Ali,MD.I went through a lot after the elgard shot, I didn't want any other treatment.I went home to die, but Dr. Ahmed Ali sent certified mail to My house several times until I contacted him I'm thankful he did,he knew what to say.I am through with radiation 39 times thanks to Dr.Ahmed Ali an his staff I am alive today I thank God for y'all at Northside Hospital Radiation Oncology at midtown Atlanta, Georgia y'all are the best.Love always.Chad
