Speed questioning that was mind-blowing! He wouldn’t give time for me to answer questions & would keep saying “yes or no”, “yes or no” before I could hardly answer. No bedside manner.
I drove out in the beginning of a snowstorm to be sure I was seen for migraines & refills, to be told the Dr had not arrived (20 mins behind my scheduled appt). I advised the Med Asst. that I could not wait much longer, as I had a job to get to. The Manager came in 15 mins later to advise, 'the Dr was not coming in due to the weather'. After reading reviews, this seems to be a trend with Ahmed. He does not value your time, health or his job, apparently. Dr. Ahmed - my first visit with him was so thorough! He spent a great deal of time with me, identifying an issue that had not been caught before. I owe him a huge thank you!! Appreciate all he did for me. Great doc!!
Good doctor actually takes the time to listen.
I am reading these reviews from a few years ago, but we had an appointment with Dr Ahmed on 8/15/2023, and he is one of the best Doctors we have seen. He took about 30 minutes examining my wife and asking questions (WHICH IS NOT COMMON...NORMALLY 5 MINUTES AND THEY ARE GONE). Yes he is direct, but I think he is that way to get the answers he needs to diagnose the patient. He listened to us and was extremely helpful is designing a program that will best fit the patient. He is rude and talks over you, never listens to you and he’s always busy to check in on your health, you can barely understand his speech and he will not listen to you, and he will raise his voice to you if you try to explain how you’re feeling, he just orders a lot of tests so you have to pay extra money to the clinic.

I suffer from chronic migraines and really desire to know what’s wrong. I wouldn’t recommend MD Maqbool to anyone looking for true preventative treatment. First, the office business hours are posted 8-5p, but his office didn’t open until 11:05. My appointment was at 11. Myself and other patients were waiting in the foyer. We were rallied and told to wait. Very poor quality provider and subpar patient service. Once the doctor entered the room, NEVER introduced himself, then asked why I’m here. It’s all true. Incompetent office staff. Dr. Ahmed talked over me and barely listened to me at all. I have had 2 appointments and both were barely 5 minutes long. I was obviously not priority. It took THREE WEEKS to get me an MRI scheduled that I was supposed to receive ASAP. Gave 1 Star because I HAD to.
