The black lady that has been answering phone is very fucking rude, if you have a question about the property she is nasty with how she responds I will not ever rent for this company!!!!

This company sucks as property managers i moved across country into a rental home that had not been cleaned or maintained yard wasnt cared for my refrigarator went completely out and was told it would be days to send maintence out a week later still not fixed and maintence report has been canceled.no i would never suggest them to anyone.

After almost 7 yrs of renting from ahi and being on time every month even during the pandemic while others where asking for breaks on rent etc all we asked was to be treated fair but that wasn't gonna happen instead while people are suffering hardships they piled on excessive fees and made us pay thousands to break our contract due to the fact we could no longer afford to live there and had to downsize and the list goes on ,bad attitudes yada yada yada

If I could right a review without using stars I would. This company is very disrespectful. I waited to be approved for a home, never could get anyone on the phone, I paid for the application fee and was told the house was no longer available. They then had a bird call me with a loud mouth yelling in my ear without even listening to me speak first, and when I told her to calm down to find out my concern she started yelling again. This company took $135.00 in application fees from me and never ran my application. I was told the property was available so I applied and the next morning I was told that the property was unavailable and that I could choose from one of their other properties. I waited 5 days and the property came available again. I called to see if my application would be processed at this point and I was told "No". AHI is the worst company I have ever done business with. They managed our house in Hoover, Alabama for 1.5 years, and they are very slow to move on repairs and to communicate with my husband and I. We had a sewer back-up in December/January that they didn't tell us about, then it happened again in March and it backed up into the hall and 2 bedrooms. The laminate floor in the hallway buckled and the carpet was nasty as a result of the back-up, so I told them that I wanted the plumbing and flooring issues fixed, and multiple e... read more

As a renter this has been the worst experience. No follow up or follow through. Very unprofessional....I paid my rent on time every month. I treated the property with respect and was quiet for my neighbors. AHI allowed the landlord to harass me through a neighbor. The landlord then threaten me to get out. As a single parent with a child with special needs I got out. I strongly do NOT recommend this agency for corporate or property management rental.
