Beware ... If you Go! – Four (4) couples went to AH-SO (4-23-2011) before Prom and enjoyed the show as their chef prepared the chicken for the gals and steak for the guys. However, within the first two hours during Prom, all four guys visited the bathroom having severe diarrhea and the gals suffered stomach aches as one up chucked her meal. It was unfortunate these couples had food poisoning for their important event but with posts like this, alerting others is most important. Whatever it was in the meal at AH-SO that caused... read more

Peoria's best kept secret – Just got back from there and I cant tell you how much fun I had and how good the food was. Our chef prepared the food right in front of us and was making us laugh and did some skillful tricks. I suggest you ask for chef Lee :).

FUN EXPERIENCE, GOOD FOOD – I have only been to this restaurant once but would recommend it to anyone. Even if it is just for the experience. The food was great. They seated us with in 10 min. on a Friday night around 7:30pm. They took our drink order right away and our appetizers as well. The sushi was great, they have there own Ah-So sauce that was awsome, I might just go back for that alone! The cook was funny, friendly and very entertaining.

Great show, so-so food... – I only ate here once, so I cannot speak authoratively. But maybe my opinion will matter to someone. I went to this resturaunt during the busier hours on a Friday. I don't know if I had the fortune of choosing a slow weekend to come along when I did, but the wait only turned out to be fifteen minutes at the most. The resturaunt wasn't how I expected. I was hoping for a more traditional Japenese look and found it to be more along the "hip" style of design. (Not the kind of hip that I like, either). ... read more

RUDE!! – I used to eat here at least once a week. For a friends birthday (party of ten) we decided to try out the cooking tables. We went on a Friday night, expecting it to be busy. Were told the wait was about an hour. Which we were willing to wait. After an hour and half we were still waiting. Not once did a hostess come and let us know that the wait would be a little longer. The girls up front were too busy chit chatting, text messaging and eating fast food to care about customers. After waiting almost two hours we asked ... read more

great for a show – I love taking dates here. If you don't know what to say the show will pretty much stop you or your date in mid sentence. The chefs are entertaining and funny and usually stop conversations I've tried to have. You can choose to sit at the bar, sit at a non cooking table, or a cook top table where the shows happen. If you choose the show table you could be sitting close to about 8 other people you've never met before, but I think it's worth it. The food is great and the service is usually pretty good, unless... read more

Bad management, rude, loud - bad business – Made reservations for our large group of friends from out of town. After half an hour still waiting (with reservations) we mentioned this to hostess who told us a little longer. An hour goes by and we tell her again of our long wait (and all pondering leaving at this point). She offers us the sushi bar, but we declined to wait for our table. The bar is bad for conversation (the place is super loud anyway) especially when you have friends you haven't seen in awhile. Not fun to screa... read more

Eyecandy and Great food on the West Siiiiiide! – Let me preface this review by saying that I love my girlfriend! But I have to admit that my head was on a swivel from the moment I walked into this place! There was some major talent in the house! The drinks are cheap but you better be prepared to drop a knot (spend a lot of money) if you want to eat here. However, the food is amazing. Our chef was very entertaining and the restaurant is perfect for groups. In fact, you'll have a better time if you go with family or a group of... read more

You have to be kidding?! – The first thing I noticed when we walked in where stacks of extremely provocative magazines strewn about the benches & tables where families must wait to be seated. It pictured a model in a tiny bikini in a seductive pose. Next we were asked Sushi Bar or Dining Table? We had our 8 year old daughter with us so we opted for the table. Plus we know that Sushi Restaurants prefer that children not sit at the Sushi Bar so we thought we would be respectful of that. After a 15 minute wait we were led down ... read more
