J had a very upset stomach and the shrimp tacos were everything I wanted and more. I would definitely recommend this place even if you are feeling under the weather
Husband and I had a great time kayaking. All gear provided. Instructions were clear, and the very helpful staff gave good tips for safe kayaking on the heavily-trafficked waterways during the holiday afternoon. Made it back at the start of Happy Hour to enjoy margaritas, nachos, and empanadas upstairs in the cafe while people- and boat-watching.
I had a great time kayaking with my friends yesterday. The location was awesome... However, the customer service was not. From the rude register girl, life vest guy, sarcastic safety girl, and money register girl, everyone seemed like they hated their job. It sorta put a damper on the whole experience. And they had the nerve to ask for a tip on the receipt... Yeah, how about no. Other pros included a waterproof bag to put your belongings in and plenty of (2 hour/paid) parking around the dock.
The food is decent, but overpriced. The service ok, albeit a super friendly staff. Our server forgot to bring the chips and guacamole we ordered. That said, I do generally love Agua Verde, its location can't be beat.
It was a great day paddling on the lake, exploring the Washington Arboretum and all the beautiful nature around us. We saw eagles and Canadian geese!!! The staff was great, so very polite and helpful, they really put the journey off to a good start!
