Our mom spent a year and a half here. She absolutely loved it. She made so many friends. The staff were amazing. Our family felt that she was truly cared for. From Aaron in maintenance. Leah her main nurse. And Rochelle the manager. We know there were so many more staff members who made moms day but we are unable to name them all. They all made mom and our family feel like we were family. The food that was served had lots of variety and was quite nutritious. Nice accommodations , good staff .
I have a family member that has lived at AgeCare Columbia for over 3 1/2 years. I think it's a wonderful facility for both independent living and assisted living. The environment is very welcoming, the staff are awesome, the facility is well taken care of (the smoking issue spoken about in one review has long since been remedied) and there are a variety of activities to participate in if you feel so inclined. I feel very confident that my family member is being taken care of there. In fact, I hope to live there some day too!... read more
This is an extremely poor age care facility, there are garbage and cigarette packs all over the road and their facility. My husband and I were driving and saw an old man laying on the ground in the middle of the road and no one even knew he was out there. We ran into the facility and no one was there, (anyone could have just walked in, and done anything they wanted) we finally got two nurses and they walked out to the road and couldn't get him up.
