Agave Azul is very good! THis place has wonderful salsa! I love the cute location and the fact that if you eat too much you can walk off some of the calories while looking at shops afterwards! Great place!
Excellent Margaritas in a Great Atmosphere Agave Azul was wonderful when it was on Frankford, but the location was just awkward. When they relocated to downtown Carrollton that made the atmosphere great. The food is very good, and they have decent size portions and excellent Chile Rellanos, enchiladas, and Chimichangas. A nice find Agave is an upscale Mexican restaurant located in the heart of downtown Carrollton. The setting is great, feels very urban. They are know for their margaritas - they offer so many selections. The nachos and enchiladas can't be beat. Agave offers outdoor seating as well, which is fun.
not too impressed We walked in during the Wine Walk, so we knew that it was going to be pretty busy in there. Our wait was just about 30 minutes, which was our quoted time. The first thing I noticed though, when I walked in was that the restaurant smelled like B.O. We were going to wait in the bar and have a drink, but it was packed and smelled like stale high school gym air. Our waiter, probably ticked because we only ordered water and asked if they had drink specials, and split check, rushed us in ordering-he asked us for ... read more
Great mexican food! Agave Azul offers delicious food in a really beautiful setting. It is located on the historic downtown Carrollton square. They have lots of different dishes and especially good seafood. Their tortillas are homemade and delicious. They also have a great bar with the best margaritas!
