Christopher took care of all my tree problems. We've had some difficulty in the past with disreputable tree businesses, but Christopher was VERY professional and helped us through the whole process. I would recommend him to any of my friends looking to take down trees.

Highly recommended. Chris and his team do great work and are true to their word. They worked in a very timely manor and got my yard looking clean again after cutting up an oak and a poplar. I will definitely call back and recommend to friends and family!
Chris knew of my experiences with another tree "pros" where I was a pretty much swindled. My fault trusting friends & family. Chris offered more work for less money than any other company I spoke with. Got the job done quick & for a fair price. Will be calling again when it is time for more trees to come down.
Very professional. Very friendly crew. Did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. Did a great job grinding the stump in our front yard as well. Very pleased.
Christopher took down some huge limbs from a very old tree that were hanging over our garage. It was a difficult job...hard to get to. He also ground down a stump in our front yard. We are pleased with his work. He was responsive to our calls and questions. One of his crew accidently took a yard tool of ours (it was out in the yard, so was easily mistaken for theirs), but he returned it the very next day. I want to add that his prices are great. I had Chris and the guys drop a large pin oak in my front yard, yesterday. Although I wasn't home for the process, my neighbors are both insurance adjusters and said the crew worked efficiently and safely. I returned home to a clean yard, minus the tree, and at a great value to boot. They will be coming back tomorrow to grind the stump. I will definitely recommend Against the Grain to folks as they ask.
I am very impressed with the work that Chris and his crew did for me. They did an amazing job getting my trees down, cleaning up and doing the necessary repairs to my house. I highly recommend this company and have no doubt you will too.
Did NOT grind stump below ground. Took $100.00 check and changed it to $700.00. Called numerous times, emailed 3 times, never heard back from the company. Filed complaint with York County Sheriff's office on check change, and will take matter to York County Small Claim's court.
