Great service! They quickly replaced the battery in my watch which none of the other jewelers in the neighborhood could do.
Incredible customer service and craftsmanship. I dropped off a gold signet I received as a push present. The ring is sentimental and I was nervous needing to get it resized. I’m so glad I listened to A&G’s reviews and brought my ring here. Price was reasonable and they delivered on time (I was quoted a few days, also super reasonable). Will agree on a percentage on the phone and then low ball you hundreds of dollars when you arrive….. Given we agreed on a percentage prior (on the phone) , given that I brought in a piece that requires no extra work and most likely will go directly on display with a turn profit of hundreds of dollars, and given that we have had over a two decade relationship with the previous owners, I was a little bit disappointed in Pauls decision to cut me short yesterday.
Paul is an exceptional custom jeweler. My wife was recently hospitalized with a life threatening infection. The hospital had to cut her engagement, wedding and anniversary rings. They virtually destroyed the 3 rings, with diamonds removed and the basic rings cut into several pieces. I was not optimistic the rings could be repaired. But Paul and Lauryn did a magnificent job of restoring them back to their original condition, if not better. And the work was completed in less than a week, and at a very reasonable price. I first did business with Lauryn years back at their San Ramon location. Today I went in to get help with my watch & check if my pearls were real. Paul is awesome, always kind, professional & helpful. Paul & Lauryn are a class act & make a great duo running their jewelry business in downtown. I also love their location where I can do my other errands all within walking distance. I highly recommend A&G, you will not be disappointed! A+++
