I arrived less than 40 minutes after they opened. Before I even described my injury, they said it would be a 3 hour wait before I would even be seen. That would mean they would supposedly take me back right before they closed, so I left without being seen. They shouldn't pretend to have walk-in hours if they can only see 2 patients per shift. Now I will have to take time off work and lose income to see a doctor.
I had been experiencing left leg pain, swelling and tightness with walking for <7 days and was fortunate to get a cancellation appointment on 05/05/25. As luck would have it, on the evening of 05/01/25, I experienced acute Intense left knee pain while ascending steps and decided to make the 1 1/2 hour drive to this walk-in clinic for an evaluation. Right off the bat the place says you must get an x-ray. No physical exam first or interview to see what’s wrong. The attending physician was knowledgeable, competent, and caring. The problem starts after the visit. We talked to the doctor for half an hour, but no after visit summary is available immediately or a week later. These notes are important as a lot was discussed.
