Mary is an amazing stylist that made me feel welcome and completely comfortable through the entire 8hr appointment at her home. My boho braids came out absolutely amazing, not too tight, and way more reasonably priced than most stylists charge these days. Don't be deterred from booking just because she operates from home. It's a clean, beautiful and very professional setting - not your average "stylists" home. Mary is so professional, accomodating, and friendly. I booked a last minute appointment before my birthday and she went above and beyond to make it happen. She was gentle, diligent about my comfort, had ideas about color and composition based on the very vague idea I’d given her about what I wanted, and her expertise was obvious. I would recommend Mary and her salon to anyway who likes to feel at home while getting their hair done.
Braids last a long time and they never are painful. I always recommend Afro Glam when friends asked where I got my braids done
I’m a first time costumer and I definitely will be coming here often. She was so sweet and also understanding of my time! I haven’t had braids in my hair for more than 2 years and I love how she did them. Not only was she so neat she was so quick too!!! I got my hair washed, blow dried and was in and out so quick !!!
