Drove from Western Michigan a 4 hr trip (one-way) in a motorhome w/5 kids and 4 adults to see the park. The walk-through only had a handfulof the animals outside. Didn't know what most of them were as there weren't any signs. The drive-thru was also a disappointment to me as there wasn't a large variety of animals. Don't get me wrong, there were lots of deer, bison, antelope but not much else. The camels, giraffes and zebras were caged, and that was it.. didn't seem like an African safari to me..The kids enjoyed feeding t... read more

It was nice and a good value. Be prepared to have your car surrounded. I had a llama stick it's head in my car and start eating out of a food container in my lap. I turned around and then a Bison had its head in my passenger window. I'd recommend it but stay aware of your surroundings and windows.

Business response:

Hi Brandon, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear you had a WILD time at African Safari and made some memories with our wonderful animals :) Our animals certainly are not shy! We hope to see you back again at the Park.

The experience was amazing as a whole. I was expecting a giraffe like the photo showed but no big deal. Laughed so hard the entire time.

Business response:

Hi Tabitha, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear you had an amazing experience at African Safari! We do have giraffe at the Park like in our photo, they just aren't out on exhibit yet due to the colder temperatures and rain. We will have all of our African animals out on exhibit in the Drive-Thru and the Walk-Thru by May 26th! We hope to see you back again! :)

Just visited yesterday and it was fun! It was great seeing the animals roaming and being able to feed them. I just wished the giraffes were out so we could have gotten the full drive thru experience.
