I'm only giving this the 3 stars because I love animals.. We drove 3 and half hours to go to the safari. I was very disappointed.. When we got there, we waited for 30 mins before getting up to the gate to pay. Then we get in there and cars are stopped in the middle of the roadway, we could not go around and no one was making them move. It is even a pretty small area that you drive through.. We went to Walnut Creek in the Amish Country, which is closer to home and cheaper. They have as many animals and they take you around on... read more

My daughter and I came here yesterday and I just figured it would be a quick Drive-thru thing. I was wrong, as we ended up spending several hours there between the Drive-thru and walk-through areas. We also got to see a few educational displays and got to feed the kangaroos! My daughter and I both really enjoyed it! Beware of the bison though, they're not shy!!! I am native to that area and went for the first time on 7/5/17.. disappointed we didn't have access to the zebras or giraffes. Food is definitely over priced and the animals prefer carrots over grains. We went through two pounds of carrots..even with a coupon spent 76 just to drive through with 5 people. The gift shop had no tshirts for adults in stock.. that was rather disappointing. The walk through part had a monkey but he looked sad, his habitat and play area too small and he had no companion..

Our guests have access to feed the zebras at all times, but if the temperature is at or below 65 degrees Farenheit, or we have a chance of severe rain, the giraffe cannot be outdoors and they will not be on exhibit.
