It was a terrible experience. They charged 99 dollars but did nothing. At first, they asked me to replace the water heater. I thought there was no serious problem with my water heater, so I refused. Then he said it would cost me 630 dollars to replace the lighter device. I was very surprised. My lighter device just broke, and it only cost me about 4 dollars to find it on Amazon, He actually asked me to replace the whole water heater or the whole ignition system. Terrible service. Ridiculous prices. Wish I had never called them. Water heater had stopped working. Burner was out and would not ignite. Found the phone number on the outside of the water heater we had installed from Lowe’s just 3 1/2 years before. Sent out someone the next day an hour later than they had stated. Then after examining water heater, repair man said we needed a new thermostat. $99 for service call plus repair. His boss on the phone quoted me $850 for everything. For a ten dollar thermal couple plus labor and a pressure release valve they wanted to charge almost $500 dollars. I bought the thermal couple and put it in myself in about 20 min. I declined their offer and they brought it down to $350. I still declined the estimate, so the charge was $99 for the estimate. I called a handyman and he would charge only $50 to put in the couple. I recommend, do your research and call other repair services before you call affordable water heater.
