You have to do all you say you will do and do it in a professional workmanship manner to get my recommendation. This is what I found that has impressed me the most with affordable solar (AS). From start to finish the process to get solar was handled smoothly by Affordable Solar. I received updated emails throughout the installation and completion of the project. My last PNM bill was $10! And the check I got from PNM was $60, I think that says it all!
I am having difficulty getting a simple invoice or receipt for my full payment for the system. I have requested this 4 times both in writing and on the phone. This company can be very incompetent either dimple things like picking up equipment left behind.

Where do I start,,, I can only speak on my project that was supposed to take 3 to 4 months to complete,,, that finally got finished in 9.. Between project managers and workers,, right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing.... extremely poor communication..... Everyone involved on my project dropped the ball,,, starting with sale's, then installers punching through my tongue and grove ceiling,,, then repair people no showing,,, to the project manager telling me congratulations that my solar was up and running 2 weeks ... read more
Affordable solar came, talked to me, arranged to put up the panels, and put them up. It all happened so quickly it was almost 'too fast' ? if that is possible.
My second solar array - this time on a flat roof with space challenges. Great customer care and professional installers. I'd do it again! Solar is the right thing to do, and Affordable is the right company.
Affordable was very easy to work with and they met every promise that they made. Our system is happily turning the PNM electric meter backwards as we speak.
Slow to install, but I understood because of recent local reg changes. I have had this system for 5 years. God help you if you want it serviced! Even warranty covered repairs take MONTHS for them to do, if ever. I've had two panels dead for SEVEN months. Unless you want to maintain your own system, buy from someone else
