Agree with other reviews this company / Blake Freeman is completely incompetent. Entire business model is trying to butter up a few board members to keep his contract. Completely arrogant & unresponsive to homeowners needs. Deliberately causes delays and problems for homeowners. Frequently lies, ignores board requests, refuses to ever admit wrongdoing. Completely incompetent. Have had a ceiling leak for nearly a full year and they sent two guys to take a look and confirm that I know what a leak is and then when that guy said "yup, its a leak" they never bothered to send anyone to fix it. They also refuse to send the HOA contract so I can share it with my insurance company. RUN!
As you can see from the pictures, the fence was not only subpar but unacceptable. The fencing company AffirmativeMgt contracted gave up on collecting the final payment and refused to come fix any problems. The problems turned out to be estimated as $49k to $80k from other fencing contractors estimates to fix the minimal set of critical needs items on the fencing system in the whole complex.
With Affirmative Management’s help and advice in the past two years we have installed new insulated roofs, repaired the exteriors, painted the complex, fixed all the fences in the community, and installed new mailboxes. And since we hired them, Affirmative has gotten more done than a series of property managers did during the previous 25 years.
AMS's productivity has been outstanding. As a result, the community is in top shape, our curb appeal is excellent and every now and then a resident even thanks other board members and me for all the improvements. Highly recommend!!
