Affinis was absolutely amazing to my god father and our family during the time we needed help the most and during the aftermath with making sure were okay.
As an end of life doula, it was my pleasure to work with the folks at Affinis Hospice. Thanks especially to Kitty, Lee and Montana for their compassionate, responsive and efficient care. I highly recommend this agency to anyone in need of hospice services.
The staff is always willing to go the extra mile for their patients and families. They pay close attention to every detail, which is a huge deal, especially when working with not only adults/geriatrics but pediatrics as well! I have never met staff that also try to focus in on making last wishes come true, they are truly Angels on Earth!
As an employee of this agency, I see how the company operates internally. We are under new management. I am astounded by the compassion within each of my coworkers. We are the only not-for-profit hospice agency in the area; we take pride in focusing on patient care and dignity. I was feeding a resident at a assisting living home in Augusta Ga around 1:00 pm And a girl will dreads & with affirm Hospice printed on her shirt came up to me in a rude voice telling me to get up because it’s a resident sits there. So I ask her came she just pull up another chair.. and she continue to get rude with me. one of the employees at the assisting living went to get a chair for the resident and I slide over so she can put the chair where I was sitting...omg this girl was so freaking rude!
