When I went to Afdent a while back, I was lured in by one of their promotions to be let down by fine print disclosures later. Not only that, but they told me I had 13 cavities. The assistant didn't even point to my teeth on the x-rays. They were going to try to bill my insurance in full over two years by scheduling December and January appointments. I delayed so I could get a second appointment. Since then, I've had 2 fillings and 3 minor remedies, not 13. This may not be everyone's experience, but I urge you to be cautious ... read more

I went in yesterday very scared and nervous. They did what I asked them to do.And went about fixing my tooth. Before I knew it they numbed my mouth and started working. Very nice people!!!!!!

I highly recommend Afdent in Mishawaka for anyone with fears of going to the dentist. Yes, I am one, prone to anxiety to panic attacks to canceling appointments. However, I had to go on a emergency basis, as most do with dentist phobia, because we are too scared to go preventatively. My experience was more than I had expected! From the moment I was taken back, to get X-ray and to my room, by Rachael, who is amazing btw, I was immediately made comfortable by everyone. I am terrified of the dentist. They are helpful, understanding, patient and reassuring every step of the way. They helped me today so much. After going to someone yesterday that took my insurance but would not even help me without $3000 down, knowing I was in pain! Today I had two teeth taken out and will be getting my dentures there. I'll take the extra hassle to go out of network that's how pleased I was with the entire experience. Thank you especially Amanda and Dr. Miller
