After not feeling well for a couple of days, I decided to go to Urgent Care for a diagnosis. Being fairly new to the area, I googled Urgent care near me. I decided on AFC because of location, and more importantly, timeliness. The next available appointment was in less than an hour. Perfect. My 1st visit was great! I haven’t felt well all week. I came here after work, the young woman working check in was very polite and friendly. My ins changed Jan 1 & I had not received my ins card yet. She was mind enough to look up my ins info for me, and also print out a copy for me. I was taken back and the woman that worked with me was also very polite and friendly. The medical assistants at my regular office aren’t very friendly, this was such a better experience. Thank you!!!!
10/10 top-notch care! I will only go to an AFC urgent care. I’ve been to the Huntersville and Mooresville locations and both are excellent. Locations are open long hours and the wait times have been very short within a few minutes of arrival. Kind, compassionate, very knowledgeable PAs, nurses, and staff. They take the time to truly listen, evaluate, and thoroughly explain the diagnosis and next steps to take. Going there I know that I’ll be in good hands. I couldn’t recommend them enough. 💯
Amazing experience! I had to visit the day after Christmas. I was greeted by a fantastic staff. Although they were running behind schedule (not surprising since it was 12/26) they showed so much care and compassion. Even asked if I wanted a bottle of water. Not a great day for them to be cheery about working. I am grateful and will definitely go back.
The ease of getting the appointment was great, especially last minute. However, waiting almost 30 min to see the provider when you're the 2nd person to arrive as soon as the office opens didn't sit too well with me. I understand that there are things that need to be done first thing in the morning to get the office up and running; but why offer 8am appointments when the office OPENS at 8 if you're going to make someone wait almost 30 min.
