Dr. Shepard at AFC is the nicest Doctor I think I've ever met with! I wish she could be my primary. She's thoughtful, empathetic and kind and really seems to actually care! She demonstrated that there still are doctors out there that still want to serve their patients! She has the best bedside manner I think I've ever experienced by a Dr! I was surprised this urgent care wasn't busier given today is Friday and tomorrow is 4th of July and many Dr offices are closed. We had such a great experience at this urgent care! Amanda was our provider, and she was incredibly sweet, thorough, and attentive while explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. The office was very clean, organized, and we had virtually no wait time, which was such a relief. I also really appreciated that they sent the paperwork ahead of time before our visit — it made the whole process so much less stressful and much more efficient. Excellent care from start to finish. Excellent care received by Asha, Jamia and Kayla! My son hurt his finger so we called ahead to get pre-registered. Asha was very kind and had great customer service. She texted me the paperwork and it was straightforward and easy. When we went back we saw the nurse, Jamia, she was very kind and courteous as well. My daughter took a fall at the playground and would not weight bare. Orthocarolina urgent care was already closed and we needed a place with imaging. AFC is nearby, and I was able to easily make an appointment online. The check in process was easy via QR code and we were seen within about 20-30 minutes. They were able to do X-rays, and after confirmed fracture, gave us a boot, some ibuprofen and a referral to orthocarolina.
