I had an absolutely horrible experience here. I waited over two hours to spend less than five minutes with a doctor who was rude and unhelpful. She did not listen at all and had no interest in helping me. I have never been treated this disrespectfully by someone who is supposed to be a medical professional. I will never return to American Family Care.

I went in so sick and had visibly swollen lymph nodes and pus in my throat, high fever, muscle aches, cough. Dr Bradley Huntley gave me a COVID test (positive) and strep test (negative -arent these 50% accurate?). I was sent home with nothing and told to get in bed. 2 weeks later throat is the same and was elsewhere diagnosed with the strep that was untreated at AFC Pelham. The AFC dr offered me nothing - not even cough medicine- and I was visibly ill. 0/10 stars
My daughter went here today for a swollen ankle and was treated by the most RUDE and unfeeling DR ever! My daughter called me after she left and was crying and said the DR did not even let her explain what was wrong! THEN She has the nerve to say follow up in a week! Ummmm NO! NO WAY SHE WILL EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE FEELING “LESS THAN” by some DR that evidently thinks SHE is too busy or too important TO CARE!

RecommendedI was traveling to TX for my daughters graduation and called several places to get rapid Covid testing prior to my flight. Most were more expensive even with insurance, didn’t offer appts or they didn’t offer “in car” testing which i felt meant possible exposure. AFC from the moment i called was friendly, accommodating, came to my car and called with results before expected. The Dr. that called prior to arrival was so sweet and caring wishing me well on my daughters graduation. I highly recommend AFC!
Worse clinic.. waited 2 hours to be seen . They called a patient... patient wasn’t in waiting room. I saw the patient drive back to clinic and come back to office with fast food drink .... ..finally got back to room .... took forever to get a shot and antibiotic prescription. Didn’t call in my antibiotic to pharmacy... so I wasted 2 plus hours, I did get a shot, I did not get my prescription ( pharmacy said it wasn’t called in)... I don’t intend to ever go to a AFC again.. oh and they donot answer phones
