Dr. Wickes has been my Primary Care doctor since I moved to San Diego in 1990. He and his staff are always friendly, prompt, and skilled. I like that blood test and EKG are done in his office so I don't have to go to a lab. Dr. Wickes is thorough and has always knowledgeable in my care. I especially appreciate that he refers me to specialists as needed. Referrals for spinal pain, carpal tunnel, and other serious health issues have all been top specialists in their field, thus my health issues are taken care of promptly. Dr. ... read more

Wouldn't listen to me, wouldn't let me finish my sentences and was a completely rude and obnoxious individual. Within the first 5 minutes I spent in his office, I told him to forget i... read more
Went in to get treatment for different symptom, came out with prescription for entirely unrelated problem. Found it difficult to communicate with this doctor, wouldn’t listen and wouldn’t give referral to check with specialist. Wouldn’t suggest this doctor to any friends.
