We selected Aegis due to their relationship with Atlas Medical Care the traveling group that saw my brother in memory care. We liked the idea of the connectivity between the two entities. Team-care is terribly important with hospice. The additional eyes on my brother, in addition to what was provided in memory care, was invaluable. Nicole, the nurse practitioner and Margot and Dinae provided the primary nursing support. My husband was in a memory care facility in Tucson for 3 long years. During the last few months of his life we were fortunate enough to be directed to Aegis Hospice. Aegis is staffed with the kindest, more caring folks out there. From the Director, Social Worker, Chaplain, and RN’s on down. I would like to give a shout out to Tachiana Acedo, RN. While I was familiar with what hospice is, the actual experience was more helpful, supportive, empathetic and informative than I could have guessed. There was even support with dealing with identity protection, closing accounts, utilities, and autopays. Great people!

My mother had amazing care from everyone associated with Aegis from the intake staff and Nurse to the final Aftercare resource going through checklists of things to handle that we might not have thought of. They offer so many great services and have thought of everything! Mom was under their care for just over a year and had quite a few nurses during that time. Aegis Health and Hospice was amazing! We were so impressed with every aspect of care and aftercare we received. Our hospice nurses, Shelby, Monica, Connie, and Florence were so knowledgeable, caring and responsive. They worked well and communicated with the staff at mom’s asst living home as well as kept us updated on any developments or changes with our mother .
