The direct primary care model of healthcare has advantages IMO because it is generally a) more affordable than the traditional healthcare model, b) more transparent in terms of costs c) builds in WAY more patient/doctor time d) can work in conjunction with traditional models, and e) gives the patient pocket-book power.
