I have been going to Advocate Medical Group in Lake Zurich for a few years now and always had a great experience my doctor (Tiffany Holland). She always had my health in mind and took action if something did not look right. Great doctor!! Has far as the wait time there have been a couple of times she was running a little late but that was due the patient she had needed extra care so, if it was me I would be very happy for the extra time she spent with when I needed her to. The doctor was an hour late for my appointment and was slow to call back or give the office staff answers when I called with questions about test results. I like the doctor though and she is thorough when I do hear back.
You should be warned that they dramatically overcharge for their services. I was charged over $450 for a simple xray that took all of 5 minutes to perform. Obviously, I was never informed of this ridiculous price otherwise I'd have chosen to go to another facility.
I would not recommend physical therapy with this facility. I went for a shoulder pain physical therapy, as referred by another doc in the same facility. Physical therapy session lasted for about 45 mnts and they charged 700$+ just for that 1 session. I had to go to their facility 2 times in their published office hours time and also called 2 times to get a good explanation for the charges and couldn’t get hold of any one who can explain why the charges ware so high. I have been a patient here for many years. I was spoken to by someone named Kathy who I’ve never encountered before and the disrespect was unreal. Dr mustafa is a great doctor but who ever he had return my call had no manners or consideration. When you work in health care I would hope you have some compassion and this woman had none. I will be changing practices now cause I’ve never dealt with someone like this and I’m 43 and have never been spoken to like that by a professional.
