Eight years ago, I got my CPAP machine through Advocate Health at Home. The packet that I received with my CPAP seemed professional, and the gentleman who handed it over to me at Good Shepherd seemed knowledgeable and caring. I unfortunately have experienced the same thing as other hip replacement patients that have shared reviews. My mom had a hip replacement, physical therapy was ordered, but never saw any actual physical therapists. They were no call - no shows. This is an egregious oversight and my mother has suffered for it.
The service is awful! My father has just been in the hospital and had a port installed to remove fluid from his left chest cavity. The nurse said she would be scheduled every other day to remove fluid and teach care giver and family. No show today. When I called the scheduler told me the nurse would not be back for another three days! The man is in horrible pain and struggles to breath.
