Do not waste your time ,the nurse that was at to exam room today 7/2/2024 at 10 am was very nice and helpful,but I had to talk to a nurse practitioner over a video call ....does not make sense, I should stay at home and do a telehealth with my doctor and not wasting 1.30 hours....plus the NP over the video call was very rude with the nurse that was with me at the exam room!! Finally NP told me to visit my provider to refer me to and specialist ...what a joke!!!
I called a little after 9am on a Sunday morning to check if I needed an appointment for a strep test. They said either appointments or walk-ins are fine. I went to the pharmacy first, and they said they don’t do strep tests and that I need an appointment with the Advocate clinic. I said I called and was told walk-ins were acceptable. They directed me to the Advocate kiosk or to knock on the Advocate doors. There was a sign in front of the kiosk that said they were closed but would reopen at 9. I would give 0 stars if I could. I made an appt, showed up on time, but the sign-in computer was down for about 10 minutes. Once it was up, I signed in and took a seat. I waited for an hour and was never called. I don't think anyone was even on duty because no one entered or left the exam room. I got up to ask the woman at the pharmacy if anyone was working at the clinic. She had no idea and referred me to the woman stocking the shelves. Total waste of time. The negative reviews are spot on. This is NOT a walk clinic. Requires appt, which will most likely be at least an hr wait from your appt. time, but you have to wait around to keep your appt. Plus each appt takes them nearly an hr because most of their time is spent making sure they'll get paid. Going to the ER would be more worth it. STAY AWAY!
I would give 0 stars if possible. Do not waste you time, go somewhere else. This review is a little late but I wanted to put it in. We were at this location 6 months ago, we setup an appointment and reached at this urgent care on time. There were no directions on where to checkin. We waited outside as the clinic room door was closed. Nurse practitioner came out after 10 mins and told us we are late and she can't take our appointment. She was very unprofessional and rude.
