BAREFOOT CANOE IS MUCH BETTER IN TIPP AND WEST MILTON. THEYRE MUCH CHEAPER AND HAVE A LONGER ROUTE. ON TOP OF THAT, THEIR OWNER IS VERY FRIENDLY. My rating is strictly for the business, not this section of river. They made us park our car with trailer out along the road, even though we were still renting a bunch from them and paid to use the ramp. They are not friendly at all to people who bring their own equipment, even if you have others renting from them and pay the ramp fee. I would recommend using your own take out spot... read more

they dropped us off and left didn't bring are kayaks for an hour
Drove 40 minutes with my own kayak for a very uneventful and probably the most boring “adventure” I’ve ever been on. We weren’t given the option to go 5 miles only the 3/12 miles so I recommend they look into a longer route Bc we felt the messily 3 hours wasn’t adequate for our time to get there and their prices.. Even had to walk my boat through the river at one point because it was shallow (which I don’t blame on them, we need more rain) the shuttle fees are higher than other places. Very organized and great time! The only thing I would suggest is if you’re going on a weekend, get there as soon as they open because it’s a popular place! I’ve been here several times and no complaints!!!

Camp ground is nice I like camping and canoeing there
