First time in. Plan on waiting a bit if you arrive in the afternoons. I took an 8 yr. old and a 15 yr old and wife. All to 1 canoe which was nice. Thestaff was great. I did tip the launch guy, it was hot and it saved us from a possible bad experience launching the first time. Bring some chairs and a cooler cause you will want to lounge and let the kids play in the river. Parking was tough but again, it was in the afternoon so plan accordingly. A VERY GOOD FAMILY EXPERIENCE! ! THANKS TO TIP A CANOE!!

We had a GREAT time canoeing here this past weekend! There was a lot of people but your workers did a wonderful job getting to everyone in a timely matter. Can't wait to come back!!
Myself and a couple friends took 3 kayaks here on Monday. It cost $32 for them to drop us off for the 7 mile route back. I believe the employee's name was Blake who helped us. I was a first time kayaker and he assisted getting them in the water. The last one to get in the water realized she didn't have a paddle, and he was nice enough to drive back and get one for her! Though we were frazzled and embarrassed, he was very nice. Had a blast and will definitely go here again!
That place is a joke!!! We made a reservation for 3 kayaks. It took 30 minutes just to get in to pay. There was a group of people at that time that had been 1 1/2 hours to leave. We waited about the same amount of time because the said they didn't have enough kayaks. Meanwhile, all these people were leave that had gotten there after we did with more kayaks than we had reserved. We have been to Foggy Bottom many times and never had a problem. Your wait was a significant amount less than an hour and a half. We apologize for your perception of the events, but the facts are supported by our surveillance.
