I love the hospital. The staff is a 10 plus. I absolutely HATE going to the Pavillion. The signage is horrible. The parking is worse. You have to walk quite a ways to get to your Dr. Office, and more if you aren't sure where it is. Central check-in takes forever. Been here 15 minutes and still waiting. All I want is an EKG. Why can't they just check me in in cardiology!
My wife has been sitting at their 'ER' for two hours now, in severe pain, with a suspected kidney stone, and she s still in the waiting room! What a joke, one doctor on duty in a big city ER? I will never send her there again. She went to LEGACY Mt. hood last time for the same issue. Even though they were very busy, within 60 minutes, at Legacy, they had given pain meds, diagnosed the stones with a scan and she was well on the road to recovery. Some of the ER staff need to take a class in kindness and treat every one with respect regardless of the patients situation. I would not recommend this ER .

Very nice and smart ER room. Doing all the tests while you wait for the available room, so mostly everything is done and ready for the dr when he see you. Very top quality specialist for hip and shoulder replacements, spine surgery (I can only say this about ones who did my surgeries ) , great family doctors. So far Adventist is my choice # 1. Everybody in the family, especially kids are afraid of Providence since both of my grandmas walked in and we're told that nothing serious and they will be home in couple of days. One w... read more
I just had robotic surgery and then spent the night in the women's section. Everyone from pre-op to my nurses last night took excellent care of me! I had not been to this hospital for many years, was pleasantly surprised that the care was so up to date. My room was very nice. I could not have asked for a better experience.
Rude staff, pretentious doctors, refuse to manage legitimate pain.
