I’m leaving the porter ER 2 starts because when I went into the room they had a student doing blood. I declined and said no. I was in a lot of pain from post surgery complications and he took advantage and tried to continue like I didn’t say anything. The nurse allowed this. Then I said to him very firmly that he needed to leave and no. Someone more experienced would be doing my blood and IV. This must have upset the nurse. She had blonde hair and glasses. I had low blood pressure and I was dehydrated, doctor and nurse rehydrated me and were attentive through the five hours I was there, when released they made sure I had an Uber driver ready to take me back to my vehicle 25 miles from the hospital. Much better care than my experience with most visits previously. Thanks

0 stars. Doctors nurses and case manager DO NOT FOLLOW LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AS MEDICAL POA AND RELEASE PATIENTS to friends! and worst people are lying deceiptful out process because so lazy case managers in porter who call nursing homes but never transfer patient they called me saying what happened to fam member. Do yourself favor stay out emergency so it closes down its just as terrible as swedish. Im glad this place will pay worst financially and with bad luck amen.

Dr Rachel, nurses Katie and Marlena in the ed were absolutely amazing! Went in for a migraine cocktail and they made sure I left feeling better than I went in, made sure I left at 0-1 on the pain scale. Got an mri and got results fast which gave us peace of mind.
