They will imprison you, cost you your job, and bill you. I went to the emergency room voluntarily for a medical condition--not arrested, not suicidal, not homicidal, acting normal, polite, and never was a self harm. Once I was released out of the emergency room to the main hospital they will try to get you to the behavioral facility and hold you for as long as possible and bill you for it, if they can. Unsanitary. Unhelpful. Undignified. This review is written on behalf of a friend or relative who does not wish to face further retaliation for speaking out about her experience with this facility. Let me start with the good: three excellent staff members, who genuinely were helpful and respectful to patients. They are: Anny, Jenny, and Moma (sp?). Apologies if we have gotten names wrong. I checked myself in for a mental health crisis in June of 2025. The intake process from the emergency department was very easy. They allowed my mom and boyfriend to leave a bag of supplies they brought. The nurses went through it and set aside items I couldn’t take in. They explained the process and what to do for the best outcome. I followed it to the letter and was out the evening of my fourth day.
