Unfortunately I don’t have anything nice to say about this location staff wise I went there for my obgyn appointments since I was pregnant for my first appointment they told me I could go there pending medical as long as I got it within 3 months of the first appointment so they could backdate it and I did get it within a month of that time. Here’s the problem the ladies in the office didn’t even send the bill to Medicaid they told me they were and to not worry about it but sent me to collections anyways I then contacted coll... read more
Receptionist friendly, but nobody could help me with making a new appointment. Tried to make a new annual appointment and was told I could not do it until my insurance was switched! When my husband and I asked questions, we were told "I don't know" every time! Considering she was all of 18yrs old, I understand... But when there are 5-7 other women over 25 sitting back there doing literally nothing, you would think they would help her and customers out. Nope! I would NEVER recommend this office for any pregnant woman!
Dr. Hankinson and staff are absolutely amazing! The staff is extremely friendly, considerate, helpful, and expedient. This is my second pregnancy with this doctor and with Shorepoint and I couldn’t ask for better. Dr. Hankinson is extremely passionate about the health and the well being of mother and baby. His knowledge and experience speaks volumes when you meet him. I went to my first and only appt when I found out I was pregnant at this office in Punta Gorda. While Dr. Hankinson was very friendly, the appt was mostly just talking about nutrition and heavily pushing towards a vegan lifestyle, not much was discussed about my baby. When I was checking out at the desk, it took awhile to get my paperwork for labs while the MA was chatting about her own motherhood experience and how she couldn't imagine being my age and starting over.
