Dr Knopf and GTFMC provide me with the best care I have ever experienced :) I am no stranger to the hospital or doctors office, and the level of professional care and service I have come to enjoy at GTFMC is unmatched by any comparable organization, and is consistent. Dr Knopf is quick with the script I will agree, but he is very open minded and really listens to me. The good doctor is very thorough, attentive and efficient. Compassionate care for adults Dr. Knopf is very conscientious, caring and takes the time to really diagnose and treat his patients. He might be too quick to prescribe medication for "every ill" as another reviewer stated, but he has always been willing to discuss alternatives with me. Dr. Knopf is especially good with patients experiencing depression and anxiety. Not the best clinic to take your kids, a pediatric clinic that specializes in children might be a better place. Usually on time.
A complete package: Body, Mind, AND Spirit - a true doctor Dr. Knopf treats the whole person. He recognizes the factors that make us healthy: body, mind AND spirit. I am glad he is forthright of his faith. Not sure why the reviewer stated their doubts as to Dr. Knopf being open about this... It's an ADVENTIST clinic. Dr. Bier isn't sympathetic or Dr. Bier isn't sympathetic or empathetic, she refuses to return phone calls, find humor in your complaints & seems bothered by your presence
Likes to write prescriptions Good doctor. Very empathetic and caring. Well informed. Does not talk down to you or have a paternalistic attitude. Relies too heavily on giving you meds for every ill. A little too religious (not sure if it is professionally appropriate for a doctor treating the general public to espouse religious beliefs).
Dr Bier is the best. She listens. She Dr Bier is the best. She listens. She takes the time to really ask questions and doesn't have a pat answer for everything. I wouldn't go to anyone else. She's GREAT! I live in Vancouver, WA and drive all the way out to Troutdale, OR to see her.
