RecommendedDr. Riehl is the best! She goes above and beyond and my pets actually enjoy their visits. The vet technicians work hard and do a great job! The receptionists are quick and friendly! I highly recommend Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo to anyone with dogs or cats!
My family is so thankful for all of the exceptional care (and love) that our dog Carly received at Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo over the years. Every time we brought her to AVC it was so reassuring to know that whatever was wrong (skin problems, UTIs, nail trims, etc.), she was receiving the absolute best care from the best people. Carly was our family and we really appreciate that the staff at AVC took care of her like she was their family too.
We love AVC! Dr. Reihl is one of a kind.. truly loves the animals and takes the time needed to go over everything. My dog, who doesn't like many people seems to really like her! It speaks volumes of the type of care provider she is. Her staff is amazing as well, always kind and welcoming! I can't say enough about this practice, make an appointment to see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

This is my baby, Bayley. She has a very complicated history for being an 8 year old corgi. We had a less than satisfactory experience with another vet and had Advanced Veterinary Care recommended to us by our specialty vet. We are so so glad that we came here. Everyone there is very caring, and your pet will always receive a thorough exam. The vets always take the time with you to explain things and answer your questions.
Compassionate care and reasonable prices. I like that they are a private practice.
Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo provided the most outstanding, exceptional and compassionate carevto our very sick boxer with acute pancreatitis. Throughout the entire episode the whole team was extremely caring and explained every procedure, lab test and medication thoroughly. Outstanding job taking care of Sam, our boxer. He was a pretty sick boy, but the professional, loving care he was given by the Advanced Veterinary Care staff proved very beneficial 'in a speedy recovery. "Top notch" vet care. Highly recommended.
