NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY OR SUPPORTIVE. Was referred by VA Community Care, call for appointment. Was called back by someone who did not identify themselves and blurted out, "we don't see veterans here, I can give you the name of some who does. When I advised a referral had been sent to their fax, I was met with the same response, "we don't see veterans at the office. Dr. Gottenger is a wonderful doctor with a very good supportive office staff. They focus on accommodating the needs of their patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible. They are very thorough and straightforward, and for a very busy office they manage it well. Dr. Gottenger is exceptional. He took the time to answer all questions and go over all the details from the initial office visit to post op. He genuinely cares for his patients and has their best interest in mind.

This place has 2 names. I am coping from my previous post. Nothing has changed, even after the conversation! UPDATE: I did call and left a message on the number left on this review. I received a call back on following day. After a brief discussion she said she would forward my information to head of the office and my need to still schedule an appointment. As of today, STILL no return call for appointment. At this point, no matter how good the Dr is, if you cannot get in to see him there is no point.. the rest of this review ... read more
