If you're going to deny service due to a patient's BMI, that should be in your paperwork! To tell my dentist to relay a message stating " HER WEIGHT AND HEIGHT IS XYZ, We do not see anyone in our office with a BMI over 40. She needs to lose 58 lbs before we can see her. If I could leave zero stars I would . Our two kids needed some extra dental work so we decided to use advanced specialty Anesthesia to assist us . They reached out to our insurance and said everything was approved and we could proceed . Never once did they mention a possibility of not being approved .
