Everything here is straightforward & actually easier to understand than what I’ve experienced in the States. They provide detailed printed info sheets showing whats what, where triage is necessary & what can wait. The staff has excellent communication skills & it’s really quick & easy to get to from LA. I said to the Dr., “ Should I just get an implant rather than replace my crown?” She said,” No, a tooth is an organ. Went there because my Delta HMO plan sucks. Broke a molar over the weekend, really painful by Sunday...General was great, but didn't do the root canal he thought was needed, referred me to endodontist who wanted to charge 50% than the plan copay, tried to steer me into a $3500 implant. I decided to have it extracted, first appt with oral surgeon was over a month away, emergency or not. Just had my Dental cleaning done for $100 with consultation and full mouth x-rays. Dr. Celia Flores , Dr. Larissa, and Specialist Periodontist Dr.Miguel.
Great staff, Dental work was done with care and staff was extremely professional. Everyone spoke english and were very patient and understanding. I could've gone to any dentist in San Diego but I chose Advanced Smile for their excellent reputation and staff.
I went on Monday for my consultation. I'm getting a full set of new crowns. The office was as nice as any office in Costa Mesa and nicer than some here. The staff was very professional and so friendly. I'm the test patient for several friends who want to see the final results before they go to Mexico. I'll keep you posted.....
