I got so much love for this place. From my initial late night phone call with RN Jeanne who reassured me that I was correct in refusing to get stuck on suboxone for 7oh dependence to meeting with Laura and then all the great nursing/patient care staff (especially Pat, with RT) as well as Dr. Aharonov, this place is the real deal. My Son William Alexander did the rapid detox not once but twice, he died on Nov 27th of an OD yes I know all about relapses the odds ect! And I also know there are no quick fixes! I don’t believe this is safe, their messing with the Brain by what Redding the receptors of the Opiates that on them after drug use? I believe this contributed to a much greater relapse after the detox is over and your sent home. I went here a few years ago. I'm looking for a place to go to right now and re stumbled on this place. First off, I choose it because I was told I would go through detox in my sleep and when I woke up it would be over. That sold me, because I only do it because withdrawals are so intense, I can't do it. Anyway, I woke up after the procedure puking violently. It’s my second day home after the procedure starting on Monday and leaving Thursday. I haven’t had nausea, sweated or had diarrhea once since the procedure starrted and up until now. I’m moving around perfectly fine. The only problem I have is the restless legs which they give you meds for when you leave. I was coming off 24 mg suboxone I’ve been stuck on. I needed to detox off of opiates that were prescribed to me as I had a negative reaction to them after 6 years of use, went in with stage 1 hypertension for the last 9 months 205/100 blood pressure, 7 different medications and a desire to not be on any meds over time.
