I've been a patient of Dr. Velasquez for a few years now for low back and sciatic issues. Initially it was to relieve pain through injection. Then there were options of surgically adding a port to distribute pain meds OR burn the nerve endings in the lumbar area. I opted for burning the nerve endings aka radio frequency oblation. I called and very rude receptionist answered. I do not recommend this place to anyone if the people up front, who represent Advanced Pain Specialists of Corpus Christi are as rude as they are. You all are the face to this company and all I asked were 3 simple questions to see if this was the place I needed to got to and I got a sigh to every question as if that was a bother. Dr VELAZQUEZ is a great doctor and specialist.
Dr. Velasquez is an Amazing doctor and human being. My first appointment, was a great experience. He talked about treatments options and elaborated so I’d understand. I was scared I was referred by my new neurosurgeon and I was really nervous. The surgeon who performed my 4 neck and back surgeries retired so I was skeptical but from initial assessment to the procedure were amazing. We calmed my nerves, he listened when I asked things.
