Dr. Gupta is HORRIBLE!! I wouldn't even call him a pain doctor because he doesn't even help his patients that are in pain! My daughter has been dealing with chronic pain for a year and was referred to Gupta. He was an hour late and when he came into the room he didn't introduce himself and then he preceded to put his face into the computer. Update: I saw Dr. Contreras today, he is amazing, caring and took time to explain everything, i discussed my concern about office staff, and he will look into it. The staff consistently fails at their managerial responsibilities. There was no callback after I called several times regarding my referral, which was marked as urgent by Dr. Gupta. Every time I called, Jovani claimed they had already sent it for approval. I have severe head tremors, which cause severe neck pain, and I was recommended by Dr. to get an epidural inje... read more
I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Contreras. I was a bit frustrated initially as I had waited several months to see Dr. Gupta, and due to some scheduling conflicts with the doctor, we were not able to make that happen. I received a call the day before my appt asking me a number of questions in preparation for my appointment. I spent about 30 minutes, giving all of this information, hoping that it would speed along my appointment the next day.
