AMT provided excellent care during my interfacility transport. The ambulance was spotless, including all equipment and securing straps. The two staff members were professional and attentive, taking the time to ensure I was properly positioned and comfortable, with a well-controlled temperature throughout the ride. I unfortunately have needed AMT's services many times and with one exception have had no issues. The paramedics are kind and try to make the experience as comfortable as possible, and I've never had any billing issues. I'm sorry other people have had bad experiences, but they really are nice people

I was forced to use this company's services. The driver smelled of body odor, and they are trying to charge $450 for a 13-mile ride in an older 4 door sedan. This company should be ashamed of itself with it's price gouging and should not be permitted to operate in the healthcare industry.

The service this company provides is good. My issue was this WAS NOT covered on my insurance & I got stuck with a bill for four thousand dollars for a 20 minute trip into the hospital ( which I could have driven myself) .. lesson learned & I don’t recommend using them unless it’s a DIRE emergency.. oh, and check with your health insurance provider first !!!

TLDR, 0/10 stars, felt like AMT took financial advantage of our particular medical emergency. My wife gave birth at Carle. Baby was having more issues than Carle was comfortable handling and told us that baby needed to be transferred to OSF. AMT's role in this is driving baby from Carle almost literally across the street to OSF. AMT decided that the price for driving baby across the street was $2400.00+. Of course, we weren't told this at the time, we just received a the massive bill a month or so after. AMT refused to budge... read more
