Very poor accountability, no show no call, “ I think they gave too many people off for the holiday week”, the next time he was assigned someone that “Jury duty”. Multiple calls to listen many excuses.
When my brother was in need of hospice the hospital referred me to Stacy Maines at Enhabit. I was able to reach her right away and all my interactions with her were extremely helpful. She always returned calls and walked me through the process with and gave me my family options. Once my brother was on hospice the people we dealt with were again very responsive. FORMER EMPLOYEE: 2 years 11 months My experience with the company revealed a toxic, condescending / disparaging work environment fueled by poor management practices. Completely unprofessional. Never the same nurse. Physical therapist played on facebook/phone the entire time he was directing exercises. Last nurse missed her appointment with us & just showed up the next day. I'm also not sure if it's the lack of supervision but there is a bit of a Dr. type of attitude when their qualifications are wound care, BP, pulse ox, etc. One nurse told my mother with alzheimer's to "keep your hands busy to help with dementia/alzheimer's".
