I purchased a Trane heating & cooling system (not cheap) in 2006 from Advanced, at time of installation I added on service contract for few years. Eventually I went to a bi-yearly service maintenance format, which worked well for my family's needs. My furnace has a electrical filter which I am unable to maintain, as I am a disabled veteran and unable to utilize a ladder to reach the electrical filter unit. I recently had them install a heating and cooling system in my house. Even on 85° day it won't get below 74 in the house. They keep giving me the runaround saying that with the temperature differences that's what it will be in my house. I had another company come out on my dime and they measured up the house to see if it was the right size cooling unit. As I suspected they said the unit was too small and the only way to correct it would be to replace the outside unit in a box that attaches to the AC under the furnace. It's a... read more

Fantastic – I called several local Heating places looking for parts and was told by all of them that they do not sell parts but they would love to come to my house and charge me exorbitantly for replacing the burnout igniter. I am a confidant handy man and don't usually need someone else fixing things I just need parts. So I can order them online if no one will sell me parts. misleading advertisment – I responded to an advertisement that they sent to my address, offering a free service call with a $10 ID Foodbank donation. After further conversation on the phone, coming out to look at my heater is not a "service call", but a "diagnostic call" and would cost MUCH more. VERY MISLEADING; will not give them my business.
