My 83 year old mother had urgent balloon angioplasty procedure with Dr Nguyen and cardiology team back in May 2024 at a major hospital in Plano and was then placed in a rehab after the procedure. During her time in rehab and subsequent discharge, there was no check in or post follow up from Dr Nguyen and his office Advanced Heart Care Plano where he practices. Office has no idea how to schedule efficiently. I scheduled two months ago and was called the day before my appt because they said they needed to change the time. Annoying, but I moved it to earlier in the day. I arrived 15 min prior, was roomed after waiting 30 min and 1 hr after my appt was to start, there was still no sign of the doctor. I've been seeing their doctors for years. Until recently I would have rated them highly. Now they won't sign-off for DOT to go back to work. I've spoken with DOT medical examiners numerous times, and they stated they have the final decision whether I can go back to work. They just need a simple sign-off from Advanced Heart Care stating I'm not have any current issues. Then they will make the final decision. AHC has kept me from being able to drive for a year now.
