I sent my Lucas 25D distributor to Jeff and he rebuilt it better than new! It was a pleasure working with Jeff to have my distributor recurved. Had a 59 Austin Healey 3000 having distributor issues and wouldn't you know, we were unable to find a replacement unit. Jeff at Advanced Distributor went completely through it and got us running better than ever before.
I sent this guy my distributor for a Porsche 911 and he lost it. Basically told me " oh well " and has done absolutely nothing to cover the core value of merchandise and feels he has no responsibility to so . I would strongly NOT RECOMMEND jeff and Advanced Distributor .
Had my 1971 Datsun 240Z distributor reconditioned a few years ago with close to 200K miles on it. Started having timing and other ignition issues. A.D. did a great job on it and I have put over 10K trouble free miles on it since.
You're in good hands with Jeff. I sent in a bad candidate for restoration and he patiently explained the situation to me. Based on this information, I found a new unit for my '73 Mercedes 450sl. The restored distributor came with timing recommendations based on his accumulated knowledge. Included below are also photos of what distributors look like before and after his work. Thanks, Jeff.
