The rating would be zero if possible. My wife and I had appointments last week scheduled months in advance. We receive early registration text messages which we did. This concluded our insurance information and copies of our drivers license licenses. We were told we were all set, next day we get another text that our insurance wasn’t accepted there but keep our appointment. If I could give zero stars I would. The office staff and surgery scheduling are awful. You cannot talk to a real person on the phone and you can't schedule a procedure on the app so you are stuck waiting on the surgery coordinator to call you back because she NEVER answers the phone. It's ridiculous.
Since advanced took over my doctor's practice, getting in touch with someone at the office (Port Charlotte) has gotten to be a joke. I've been on hold for over 15 minutes and I know very well that no one on that office is that busy. To prove my point I'm going there in a few minutes and asking what the problem is. I don’t recall going here. But just received a check from an overpayment back in 2022. Only now they sent my refund because of a new law passed this year 2026 that no business hold overpayments more than 30 days. What cracks me up is I spoke to 3 different women from the billing department and they all backed the company’s wrong doing. Stating it wasn’t law back then to refund your money.
