Since advanced took over my doctor's practice, getting in touch with someone at the office (Port Charlotte) has gotten to be a joke. I don’t recall going here. But just received a check from an overpayment back in 2022. Only now they sent my refund because of a new law passed this year 2026 that no business hold overpayments more than 30 days. What cracks me up is I spoke to 3 different women from the billing department and they all backed the company’s wrong doing. Stating it wasn’t law back then to refund your money. If I could give zero stars for their customer service, I would. I recently had a small amount due that was not paid for by Medicare. The bill was paid by bill pay through my bank. I kept getting late notices, so I called the number they provided and got Heiddy in customer service. She asked for a payment receipt via email which I did and promised me she would call or email me to let me know she received it. She did not.
